    Motorola Dynatac 8100l Brick - Small Size Red Led Display
    Working/Unlocked Cell Phone - 1986 Plus Accessories. Euc.
    Wow! Rarely offered in working condition. This phone has a small red Led display like the famous 8000X DynaTac from 1983’s first brick.
    This phone listed here is from 1985/86/87.  Amps 800, CDMA. Works but CANNOT connect to any network.  SEE THE VIDEO.
    The empire state shaped rubber antenna is perfect. You know it is the 8100L because it lacks the FCN (frequently called number button) and the locked button is moved up into one higher row.
    Included is the Oem 7.5V nicad beige battery which after 30 years is not truly chargeable. BUT,  Included as a replacement is a black 7.5V HYDRIDE never used replacement battery from Germany. The company which made this went out of business 4 years ago. Hence you cannot get this GOOD battery anywhere. It lets you use it at vintage car/ electronic shows,  hand around to friends,  without being tied to an adapter cord.
    Most of the buttons on the phone work. The phone is missing the foil S/N and Model number but on the inside you would probably find numbers like F09GTD or F09DSD.
    There are no chips or cracks. The phone’s original # 915-526-7272.  Texas.
