This micarta grinds, sands, carves and polishes really easily, and it doesn't conduct heat ("warm" handle material).
Note: use a respirator or at least a dust mask while grinding composite materials. The components might not be toxic but the dust itself must not be inhaled. When grinding micarta, use a higher speed if you want to achieve the smooth darker look. And if you want to keep the color light you should use slower speeds
.
This micarta block is fully ready to work with. Add a finisshing coat for even brighter and better result.
